The Best Collapsable Storage Bins

1. Amazon Basics Fabric Storage Cube Organizer with Handles

I needed some more cube organizers because I have been going through boxes like crazy since we moved into our new house 2&1/2 years ago. We bought the biggest house that has an abundance of cabinet & drawer space but it’s at a premium price so I wanted something else to store all my knickknacks, bookshelf accessories, etc..So I decided on these little guys! They are nice quality made products which is important to me because if they get beat up, well that’s not very good then right? So far, I am happy to say that none of them have sprung a hole due to getting jostled around in shipment or anything like that. They come folded up flat but you do need to pull them out and give them a shake to help them spring back into shape. The only thing I don’t like about this product is that there isn’t any type of insert to go along with them. No matter what size bin you put them in, there will always be a lot of wiggle room. There should be some type of foam padding inserted inside the container walls to allow for expansion and removal of items. Other than that, I really like them. I can easily grab one and toss it in my closet, under the bed or desk, make a coffee table book stand out from the rest of the stuff on my shelves, and I even use them to hold wrapping paper rolls, gift cards, or other small household items.

2. Household Essentials 80-1 Foldable Fabric Storage Bin With Handles

Okay so these are just plain cardboard boxes with fabric drops that can be used to store a variety of things right? But what makes them great is if you have cats like I do then they will get all twisted up which means it takes up less space on the shelf but still holds the item securely. The first thing I did was take two (2) pairs of small bin liners (diapers/pajamas or washable pee pads), place them inside each box with the opening facing up and put some old towels over top making sure there’s no gaps. Then fill the rest of the space under the folded flaps with cat litter or sandbox sand. Now my cats feel safe because nothing bad can happen since everything is covered safely! These make perfect little laundry bins for the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc.

3. Citylife 64L Collapsible Storage Bin with Lid Large Heavy Duty Utility Crate

These are great little bins that stack securely. I have them stacked full of bricks and they don’t sag or wobble. There is really nothing better than being able to pull something out of an oversize bin and find it lined up and perfect. This product does exactly what it says. They’re pretty well made considering their price point. Not flimsy like some others. And you know how much good stuff costs these days!I’m using them to store old computer parts (hard drives, usb sticks, game controllers, video cards, etc) at my girlfriend’s house while I clean her place out. So far so good. We’ll see if we get stuck on some projects and need more room, but so far they’ve been very useful.

4. Foldable Closet Organizer Storage Containers

I have bought several sets so far and they seem durable. I store my hangers, rods, shoes, socks, ties, belts, watches, jewelry etc. In addition, we are going to use them this coming summer for camping/traveling.These bags look good and hold plenty. They are easy to open and close. There seems to be no problem with tearing as some reviews mentioned. I do notice that there could be a slight problem if you want to carry them by the handles since they may tend to slip through. Otherwise they are sturdy enough and hold their shape while being held upside down.We like these so much that we are going to buy another set.

6. SEVENDOME Fabric Cloth Storage Bins,Fabric Cube Organizer with Dual Handles

I needed some extra large storage bins for all my holiday decorations since I am going to host Christmas Eve dinner this year. I had been using plastic shoe boxes but they were just not big enough! So I decided to give these a try.Pros:- They are very attractive.- They look like real fabric (at least to me!)- They have 2 handles on each side.- They seem pretty sturdy.- They are relatively inexpensive compared to other brands.- They come as set of 3.- Each one has cute ties at the top to keep everything inside neatly- All metal construction except for fabric part.- Nice sizeCons:- Although they say they are machine wash/line dry only, I will have to make sure they are completely dry before storing them because they almost feel wet after I washed them. Maybe I should put them in an air dryer?- The fabric seems somewhat thin, but I imagine it is necessary to make them light weight.- It does appear that you cannot place heavy things such as books in them.Overall I would recommend these bins.

7. STOREONE Fabric Storage Bins with Dual Handles for Shelf Closet, Bedroom

This product meets my expectations as I wanted something sturdy to hold up to toddler use. These little babies do not disappoint. They’re cute, they look nice, and they function well. Here are some pros and cons though…Pros:-Made of thick, very soft material that feels good to hold.-Smaller pieces mean less bulk when stored in the cubes (duh)-The handles help you move things around if needed-Nice size for smaller areas like a bookbagCons:-The edges cannot really be pinned because they’re too thin-Not able to “fold” them due to their unique shape – instead, they’re only able to sit flat on a surface, but then again these aren’t hard to fold so this isn’t much of a problem-A bit priceyOverall, still recommend!

8. PRANDOM Large Collapsible Storage Bin with Lid [3 Pack]

I’ve had a set of these for a few years now – I bought them because they were so inexpensive and there’s no way I was going to pay extra for “better” looking ones. These look like what I would get if I paid $2/bin instead of $10/bin, but they function exactly the same. They’re perfect for my current needs – holds all my cleaning products so that I don’t have to make multiple trips to/from the laundry room; keeps my magazines and books reasonably organized without having to buy an entire tower / shelf unit; good size for holding at least 1 week’s worth of groceries so that I’m not making several trips to/ from the pantry.Overall, I’d recommend this product. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the fabric seems a little thin, but again – for the price, I really am not complaining too much.

9. Clothes storage bags with Durable Handles Thick Fabric for Blanket Comforter

These cloth storage bags are great! I bought one at least 3 years ago because they were so handy. My kids would always bring home dirty laundry, but now that we’re adults, my partner and I could toss them in the wash together with the rest of our loads. Plus, who’s going to snoop through your stuff? Not me! These are way too big for most people’s wardrobes, but you can make them smaller by folding them – just be careful not to run into the zipper enclosure (which should really be taped up if there ever was any doubt about this).Folding these isn’t as easy as some plastic ones where all you have to do is pull on the handles, but it still takes less than 10 seconds per bag. Then you have to carefully re-roll the edges back onto itself so they fit within the bag. But wait! You’ll want to keep track of which end goes toward what corner, since those flaps look like they’d be pretty good candidates for making into another pair of pants! So draw lines across the corners before rolling the sides back over themselves. That will help you know which side goes against what corner. Then put the filled bag in the hamper and hit the laundry room.

10. Bagnizer 22 Quart Fabric Foldable Storage Cube Bin Organizer Basket with Flip-Top Lid and Handles

I bought two of these to go along with some other items I purchased for my son’s room and was pleased when they arrived. They were well packaged and each individual piece was neatly wrapped in tissue paper. When I opened the package everything was neatly placed inside a good sized reusable plastic bag that looked like it would last a long time. Each item came individually labeled so I knew what belonged where which makes things easier when it comes time to put them away after use.My son likes to play with his stuffed animals and since acquiring more pets over the years there are more dead ones around now so having a container for all of his favorites seems helpful. These little containers fit nicely in the corner next to his dresser and he uses them both regularly. Most of our stuff stays within arms length but sometimes you have to reach in farther for something so I really appreciate being able to lift up on them and slide them sideways while reaching for whatever I am looking for. They come folded flat but lay completely open once you start putting things into them. You can easily place small objects such as blankets, sheets, pillows etc. I found placing larger heavier things like duvet covers and comforters just a tad difficult but totally doable if you place them upside down on top of another set that has already been assembled.Once you get started filling these up you might find it hard to stop at any point. Once you see how nice they look filled up you may want to add an extra layer or two especially if the pieces you are using are thicker. It also depends on the weight of the items being stored. These are sturdy little containers and seem very well made. When I think about how much “stuff” people accumulate in a year and then try to store it all I often end up getting overwhelmed and create a situation where it becomes a problem. Having a container like this helps me alleviate that issue by making it easy to grab and stash a couple at a time.Overall I am happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to tidy up their personal effects and/or favorite toys and keepsakes.
