  1. 1. Pathfinder School Campfire Survival Cooking Kit (Earth Brown)

Really a great set for an inexpensive camping stove.I really love the sturdy canvas tote bag, with reinforced handles and shoulder strap. This makes it easy to carry from place to place within the campsite. It also houses all of the cooking gear nicely, with separate compartments for pots/pans, plates, cups, and utensils. There’s plenty of room in the main compartment to store a 10″ skillet, 2-quart saucepan, 1-1/4 quart casserole dish, instant pot pressure cooker, and other miscellaneous items that you would put into your camping kit. You could even slip the rubber insert from your favorite coffee maker or thermos bottle inside the cup holder area.It has a built-in fire starter consisting of 3 kindling chunks, paper towls, and some cotton rope. To start a campfire quickly this is definitely the best part of the entire camping stoveset! I’ve used it several times already, and had my friends over to grill dinner while we sat around the firepit. They were impressed at how easily it starts every time. We even use it to make popcorn on the fire pit with one of the guides. Popcorn takes about 15 minutes now, as opposed to hours using an electric kettle. The lid to the canteen helps keep things warm when sitting around the campfire. It’s made out of plexiglass which is fairly thin so don’t expect anything hot. But you can still see through it if you hold it up to the light reflecting off of the coals. The flap folds down to create a tight seal between the glass pieces. There’s an included hex key tool to remove the plastic lids. You’ll need a ferro rod (or equivalent) to ignite the kindling and start the fire. Here they have provided you with 4 different colors of igniters to match your tent or sleeping pad. After lighting the fire stick you can add wood chips or small logs to get it going. When ready, just pour water into the bottom of the pan, and bring it to a boil which will kill any bacteria in the food you’re preparing. Boiling water isn’t recommended as it could cause severe burns.Although not mentioned, each item was individually packaged and then placed in the large canvas tote bag by itself. Nothing was jumbled together. Everything seems to be well constructed and should stand up to years of use.

2. Best Camping Accessories for Kids over campfire & Hot Dog Fire Pit

If you want to impress someone by grilling some marshmallows then this is the right kit to do so!Each fork in this kit has two different sizes of tines. One large and thin, one small and thick. These are perfect for grabbing hold of something really firmly.I’ve been trying out recipes I found online and they have turned out well when made with this set of forks. The metal handles are very comfortable to hold and they fit nicely in my hand although the largest fork may require a little bit of a squeeze to get all the way into its handle. One thing I was surprised by though, was the rather substantial weight of each fork. Each fork weighs almost 5oz/140g which makes it slightly heavier than average. This isn’t too much of a problem for me but could be for those who need to lift this kind of product often.Overall, I’m impressed with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking to give themselves or their friends something unique to compliment their other camping supplies.

3. Camping Tripod Board with Adjustable Hang Chain for Outdoor Cooking

This product was easy enough to assemble, although some people may choose to buy another set that includes an Allen wrench which makes it even easier to tighten and loosen the hang chain.I like this product because I don’t want to deal with a lot of different kinds of wood when I am out camping just to make sure my propane stove will work correctly at the highest temperature. This product works well with my Coleman Stove Propane Tankless Water Heater (T50).Some reviews mentioned that there isn’t a notch on the hang chain to keep your pots from sliding off the end of the chain. There is actually a design flaw in their manufacturing process that causes this problem. You can see in one of the photos attached that there are two small holes drilled where they should have been milled through the entire piece so that the hook part would fit over the loop part. Unfortunately, during the manufacturing process those holes got missed. If we had known how they were supposed to be manufactured, we could have ordered another ring to go around the bottom of our pots before installing the hang chain. The last thing I would say about this product is that the adjustable hang chain has metal links with plastic rings connecting each link. Those individual links are very thin and look as though they won’t hold up very long. We put a lot of strain on them while trying to adjust the hang chain and after several uses they are now getting loose. Hopefully, they all hold together longer than the ones on our previous camping trips. We definitely recommend this product!

4. G4Free 15 PCS Camping Cookware Mess Kit Campfire Kettle Outdoor Hiking Backpacking Picnic

I’m glad I finally bought some real cooking gear rather than garbage at the department stores! When I opened the package, I was impressed by how sturdy everything was – even the lids on the pots were actually sealed shut, they weren’t just stamped on. The stainless steel tools are very sharp, the rubber mallet is nice and heavy. The instruction booklet is also thorough and explains each piece clearly. This would make a great gift for someone you know who enjoys camping or being outdoors. When I first used the pots, I was concerned that they might have been too small but once my family saw how well they worked, everyone wanted the recipe I had prepared using them. They are plenty large enough for 8 quarts of water.Since these will be our “go-to” camping equipment, we should get years use out of them. And since there is no corrosion, I see no reason why these won’t last us many years.

5. Odoland 8pcs Camping Cookware Mess Kit with Mini Backpacking Stove

These are very nice looking pieces of equipment. When I received them, they appeared that there would not be any issues with rust or corrosion on them based on their packaging which seemed like it was sealed well. However when I tried some of the components out individually, that wasn’t the case. The top of the folding spoon in the picture had rust stains from whatever it was previously used for. The bottom of the spoon does have a minor stain but because of how it folds up, it doesn’t look too bad.I also found that both the frying pan and the saucepan do show signs of rust at various points on the inside. Thankfully since these will just sit outside either in the sun or the rain, I don’t think it will matter much. When I put these all together, they actually looked pretty good compared to what I expected. They fit nicely in my pack and everything seems to work fine even if I am really rough on things while I use them. They also come with a plastic tool to hold the handles together when you are screwing in the tent stakes.Overall, I give these 4/5 stars because they appear to be quality made and are attractive. But once again, without using anything else, they seem kind of cheaply made especially considering the price tag.

6. Bulin Camping Cookware Mess Kit, Backpack Portable Campfire Pots Pan & Kettle Set

This is an awesome little collection!I’ve only had this for about 3 weeks so far but I have used it several times already. It makes preparing meals super easy because you just add water and put the flame to medium heat… wait for that dried pasta or rice to start boiling… drop some veggies into the pot.. add some meat from the freezer… stir and let everything simmer away until done. You can tell when things are cooked because there is no slush at all in these pots.Everything comes right out.My husband has even commented that he thinks spending hours gathering wood to fire the first fire was worth it! And now we dont have to worry about the mess afterwards either. These pots cleaned up very easily. I did leave one overnight to cool and drain off the grease as directed, but the rest were pretty clean. These will definitely last us for years!

8. Bulin Camping Cookware Mess Kit, Portable Campfire Pots Pan & Kettle Set

This is a nice little collection that could easily serve up to four people or so as a complete dinner set or even at breakfast time! This tent camping kit consists of one tall round pot with a capacity of about 7-8 quarts, one smaller flat bowl with about 6 ounces of volume and enough depth to add spices while cooking, one small fry pan with the same volume of oil or butter as the other two larger ones, one large spoon made of the same material, one smaller sharpened spoon similar to the others, one cone shaped item which may be useful for stirring something sticky, one plastic covered metal rod holder, and finally, several mesh bags with various items such as a measuring cup, a strainer, some pasta shapes, and a few other random gadgets. Now, this isn’t some fancy expensive kit designed by a famous chef like Mario Batali or Paula Deen. Nor does it cost hundreds of dollars either. But I will tell you, that just because it doesn’t look like something from the kitchen of Babbo or Supper doesn’t mean it won’t do the job when needed. In fact, everything here seems to be quality built and durable, plus they all match each other perfectly.I’ve had this kit for a couple of years now and have enjoyed using it for many meals. The only thing I might change is replace the non-stick coated platters since they seem a bit fragile. Also, both the large and short handles of the spoons appear too long to me, though the short handle works fine.So if you’re looking for a complete portable meal preparation system that will keep you fueled for hours at a time without producing a lot of waste and having to dirty lots of dishes, this really fits the bill quite nicely. Of course, nothing comes close to eating a delicious home cooked meal sitting around the campfire, but this almost gets you there. And I’m sure most campsites don’t have firepits just waiting for someone to throw a stick into them.

9. MalloMe Camping Cookware Mess Kit for Backpacking Gear

I have used this set in 3 different outdoor adventures; as an overland truck camper (2 trips), ATV trail ride (1 trip) and backpacking (3 trips). This cooking set works perfectly in any situation. The large, heavy duty aluminum burner heats up very quickly even with just a few logs rolled on top. I also love the long, sturdy handle which makes it much easier to move around my campsite and access water from my hydration pack. And because the burner is so big and heavy, the soup spoon doesn’t fall off when taking it apart/putting it together. The non-stick coating works extremely well, making cleaning quick and simple. Also, since there isn’t anything made out of plastic, these pieces can be cleaned with soap and water instead of sandpaper.During use, I find myself reaching for the pot instead of the spoon. It’s nice having the cover lock feature, because it helps prevent dirt from getting inside the cover while it’s sitting on the camp stove. This cooking set does not include utensils such as forks, knives, spoons etc… For those needs I suggest purchasing additional accessories through Amazon. After using this set for many meals while traveling, I’ve found that it still looks like new after being stored away in my tent throughout the night. Highly recommend this camping cooking set.

10. Camp Kitchen Utensil Set Travel Organizer Grill Accessories Portable Compact Gear for Backpacking BBQ Camping Hiking

This product would work well as an organizer for a small camp kitchen. It could also work quite well for home use if you like to cook with lots of different gadgets; I think this list shows just how much thought that went into making this useful kit!The only thing not included are tongs, skillets, pots, pans, lids for the skillet and the grill, basting brush, stirring spoon, spatula, and a few others here and there. If you have a large family or several friends over to eat together outdoors, this little kit may not do the trick. If you’re eating alone, it will make any meal more enjoyable!
