I love my washer. After owning more than just a few cheap Walmart washers, I decided it was time for something nicer. First of all, this thing has 7 individual functions that can be controlled separately or together. So if you’re the type who does laundry by hand, then this one’s perfect. You get your own settings for water level, amount of detergent, auto-spin, etc.

Then when you press “start” it goes through each function while using whichever settings you set up. They give you options for things like extra rinse, non-chlorine bleach, and even makes sure your doors are closed properly after washing (and vice versa). There’s also a delay for any leftover so that you don’t accidentally wash something that’ll set off the explosion timer. Its got an adjustable temperature control too which I use because our apartment complex requires we have our windows open some during the day. Between the awesome features and price, I couldn’t think better about my purchase. If you’ve been looking at Amana washers for over $300, consider this one.

I have had several washers over the years as we have kids that wear out clothes so quickly. I decided it was time for me to get one of these for myself. It has not been too hard to use at all. I love it because I can wash when they are small and easy to change. When they grow out of something I hate having to do laundry again.

My older daughter just turned 13 this month (7th grade) she says “Oh yeah, I am going to wait until I turn 14. That gives me more than enough time to get another one of these for myself. If you want to save some money then hang on to your children till they are old enough to appreciate what you’ve done for them. They will thank you later.

Our younger daughter gets so excited everytime she sees us doing laundry or taking it down to the laundromat. She follows us around asking questions about everything she should ask. So if you don’t have any little ones around, consider getting one of these. You won’t regret it.

I have been using a top loader washer for years and I am very pleased to see they are still made the way that is most economical; that being that you don’t pay for water by having to load it yourself. The reason I bought this one is because of the stainless steel basket and I wanted some assurance that food particles would not cling to the metal surface where I wash my fruits and vegetables. This unit has an aluminum bottom plate which will prevent rusting as well as keep the washing machine from tipping over. Another good feature is that it uses only two tubes instead of three, thus taking up less space in storage when not in use.

It works quietly at 5 minute intervals and does a thorough job cleaning the clothes before spinning them out into the dryer. One negative is that the controls are on the front panel and can easily be accidentally bumped off. To remedy this, the manufacturer provides a plastic cover that attaches to the control box after it is installed (without screws) so that if it is tipped over the bumpers will remain attached without falling off. Since I have had mine for several months now, I haven’t encountered any problems with the control buttons but I did wrap them with cardboard to protect them.
